What we collect

• Account details: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and optional phone number.
• Booking details: shop, barber, service, appointment time, and notes you provide.
• Photos: front/side photos of your head and face, inspiration images, and post-cut photos you choose to upload for a style consultation.
• Barber data: for barbers and shop owners — profile photo, services, prices, hours, and optional calendar connection.
• Technical data: device/browser type and error logs needed to keep the service running.

We do not use your photos to identify you (no facial recognition), we do not sell personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use it

To create and manage bookings, generate AI haircut previews and barber instructions from your photos, send appointment reminders, provide support, and keep the service secure.

AI processing

Consultation photos are sent to our AI image provider solely to generate your preview images. Photos are stored privately and are only visible to you and the barber handling your appointment.

Who we share with

The shop and barber you book with; service providers that host our infrastructure, process AI requests, and send messages (e.g. email/SMS); and authorities when required by law. [LIST ANY ADDITIONAL THIRD PARTIES / SUBPROCESSORS]

Retention & deletion

You can delete your account and all consultation photos at any time from Delete account in the app or on the web. Deletion is permanent. Anonymised booking records may be kept by shops for up to [RETENTION PERIOD FOR BOOKING RECORDS, e.g. 24 months] for accounting.

Your rights

Children

FolioCut.ai is not directed to children under [MINIMUM AGE, e.g. 13], and we do not knowingly collect their data.
